Your future responsibilities

As a Graduate in Nordea, you will be taking ownership of your contribution, growth and enjoyment while Nordea will empower you to continuously explore, learn and adapt.
You’ll join Market Risk Control, where we ensure correct daily market risk reporting and compliance to delegated mandates and internal instructions. We are covering a wide variety of financial products and are striving for continuously improving our setup.
In this Graduate position, you’ll work with:  
  • On a daily basis you will report market risk 
  • Contribute to the risk dialog with business management 
  • Understand market risk models and market risk dimensions stemming from approved products, market dynamics and the business models 
  • Contribute to the embedding of a risk-based culture, influencing and challenging all colleagues to take personal accountability for risk-based decision making
The role is based in Copenhagen. Welcome to a team of 12 dedicated Risk analysts.

Your profile and background:
  • A Master’s degree  
  • Experience in explaining complex issues to a non-technical audience.   
  • Knowledge of financial products and pricing 
  • Experience or interest in programming SQL, VBA and Python is an advantage.  
  • A maximum of two years’ post-academic work experience  
  • Excellent English language skills
