The KMD Graduate Programme is a customized and structured programme for professional development and learning. The graduate programme is here to develop and grow some of KMD’s future talented specialists and leaders by providing a framework for accelerated career development.   

As a graduate in KMD, you hold a business-critical position throughout the 18-month-long programme. You are exposed to real life IT and business problems, and you work hands-on to create solutions, solve issues and collaborate with a variety of people, both externally and internally.

The graduate position  

 

As a Sales and Business Development graduate in the ‘Customer & Innovation’ unit you will gain hands-on experience in sales, marketing, and business development. 

In ‘Customer and Innovation’ we are working as the spearhead for sales across ‘Digital Transformation Services’ cultivating new customers within primarily the public sector. In collaboration with our customers, we influence and drive the digital agenda translating innovative technologies and solutions into benefits for citizens and businesses. 

 

Our focus is on governance, optimization and transformation of state administration and welfare areas, where KMD through strong business knowledge combined with long-term customer and partnerships helps to ensure that Denmark continues to have digital solutions providing better welfare, accelerate the green transition and increase growth and exports.  

 

 

About the role 

 

During our programme you will gain a deep understanding of sales and presales methods. You will be trained in a consultative and challenger selling approach and how to write and present winning proposals. In addition, you will learn how to develop strong and long-lasting relationships with customers and partners, based on trust and aiming for the highest level of customer satisfaction. 

 

Together with highly skilled and experienced sales colleagues you will contribute to several customer activities and after finalizing the Graduate Programme you will be starting your career as a Sales and Business Account responsible. In this role you will facilitate your own client portfolio and be involved in various aspects concerning your clients, including creating opportunities and making winning proposals. You will also be able to work professionally with Bid and tender excellence, Customer Satisfaction frameworks and Solutioning Skills.

We are a diverse group of people in ‘Customer & Innovation’ however we would not be successful at what we do without our close collaboration with other departments such as ‘Marketing & Communication’, ‘Bid Excellence’ and Finance.

We are looking for 

 

We are looking for talented and ambitious candidates who hold a Master’s degree within Business, Economics, Marketing, IT or equivalent. To be considered for the program you must have graduated between the summer of 2023 and September 2024.   

 

Also, you likely have

 

  • an interest in digital transformative technologies and its impact on society  
  • are interested in sales and related disciplines   
  • have the drive, boldness and an ambition to succeed within a sales and business development role 
  • have great collaborative and interpersonal skills 
  • enjoy working with data analysis 
  • Are a strong communicator with excellent presenter skills – both written and oral, and in Danish and English 
  • Thrive creating great PowerPoint presentations.
