BDO Ireland is currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Talent Acquisition Associate to join our HR team.
As a Talent Acquisition Associate at BDO Ireland, you will play a crucial role in our Recruitment Team. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of recruitment tasks and administration, including working closely with hiring managers, working on the full hiring cycle, involvement with the graduate programme, supporting employee onboarding and everything in between.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the full recruitment cycle across a range of business areas, from initial hiring manager briefings through to offer stage.
- Collaborate with offshore recruitment teams to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery across all open roles.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of our graduate and internship programmes.
- Screen, assess, and shortlist candidates for both technical fit and alignment with company values.
- Conduct targeted searches and support proactive talent pipelining.
- Complete thorough reference checks to ensure high standards in candidate vetting.
- Represent the firm at industry events and award ceremonies to build networks and promote the employer brand.
- Act as an Employer Brand Ambassador by attending universities and colleges to attract early career talent.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 12 months’ experience in recruitment or professional services, supporting elements of the full hiring lifecycle.
- Degree-qualified in a relevant field (e.g. HR, Business, Communications, or similar), with an understanding of recruitment fundamentals.
- Familiar with applicant tracking systems and recruitment platforms; proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach and confidence engaging with stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and remain adaptable in changing environments.
- Proactive, eager to learn, and enthusiastic about building a career in talent acquisition.
