For 12 months you’ll acquire capabilities to become a skilled cybersecurity consultant, expand your toolbox and receive hands-on training and specialized mentoring. As an NNIT Cybersecurity graduate you’ll get the opportunity to work with some of the most skilled consultants within our Cybersecurity & compliance business areas. You will work within different fields of the Cybersecurity & compliance domain during a 12 month period.
After completing the program, we will find right permanent position for you, and you’ll continue your career in NNIT as a Cybersecurity consultant.
What to expect
The Cybersecurity Business Consulting Graduate Program lasts 12 months. During your time as a graduate, you’ll:
- Work within our different Cyber security & compliance areas
- Build the foundation for a strong consulting and cybersecurity profile
- Deep dive into consultant methodologies and tools, as well as cybersecurity methodologies and frameworks
- Receive the necessary training and courses
- Work closely with a dedicated graduate manager and mentor to support your development
- Apply your knowledge to real-life projects adapted to your capabilities
- Participate in the Young Professionals Community, thereby accessing a network of other young professionals in NNIT
- Join the Personal Leadership Program, giving you the foundation for creating a sound and healthy work life
- Be offered sessions with a career coach to reach your full potential
We ensure you receive a broad exposure to different types of projects. You’ll take part in customer meetings, and you’ll learn to understand and interpret the customer’s needs and, in collaboration with the NNIT organization, offer stable solutions that meet the expected quality.
You’ll also learn to become the trusted advisor within cybersecurity, and assists clients in choosing the right level of defense and cybersecurity controls. You will learn how to use frameworks and standards like NIST, MITRE and ISO to solve the clients business and compliance challenges, as well as using penetration test and zero-trust concept to improve the clients cybersecurity posture.
Tasks vary from process analysis to workshop facilitation, from conducting penetration test projects to executing on a security assessment for a customer. This will require that you are flexible in terms of taking on various roles for our clients. Examples of roles could be: Project Manager, Penetrations tester or Risk Management advisor.
My graduate program is eventful, educational, and socially giving. Every day, I get the opportunity to work with smart colleagues and cutting-edge digital technologies to transform our customers’ way of working. I also get to test my skills in multiple business areas, such as consultancy or project management.

Your profile
You’re about to complete your master’s degree or have just completed it. You’re ambitious and focused, and you want to start a career as a consultant – delivering business critical cyber projects to our many customers.

- You have relevant experience from a student job or the like
- You’re committed, self-driven and have a commercial mindset and global outlook
- You have good English and Danish skills, both verbally and written

We’re around 90 consultants in our Digital Business Consulting unit, organized in strong teams within specialized knowledge areas. Your career development is important for us, and we’ll nurture your skills and competencies through strong collaboration, knowledge sharing and relevant training. The program is based at our HQ in Søborg.
