ECCO is looking for an ambitious NextGen for a Supply Chain career track. As a Supply Chain NextGen, your role will be to gain a good business understanding and insight into ECCO’s value chain, including gaining hands-on experience within our shoe production, sales and headquarter supply chain functions, i.e. ECCOs full value chain, ready to take on an end position in any location within our global organisation.
 
Job Profile:
  • Focus on distribution set-up in markets
  • Warehouse operation management
  • Exposure to supply chain and logistics planning
  • Focus on fulfilment methods for various sales channels
  • Import and export
  • Focus on distribution centre (DC) operation
  • Business development, logistics projects and operations management
  • Involvement in optimisation of the value chain including improved transparency
  • Capacity planning and risk control on product level
  • Cost optimisation across the value chain
  • Understanding the synergies between Regional Sales, Production and group level Supply Chain
Qualifications and Work Experience:
  • Master’s degree in any Supply Chain Management discipline or manufacturing related discipline
  • You have strong analytical skills and an eye for detail, ability to meet deadlines
  • Ambitious and hard-working, with a mature business approach and demonstrating responsibility
  • Confident and outgoing, with proven networking and relationship building skills
  • You possess good negotiation and persuasion skills
  • You are pro-active and feel comfortable with a wide range of challenges
  • Thrive on challenges; enjoy a dynamic environment and having many things to do at the same time
  • Quality orientated and results driven with good problem solving skills
  • Global mind-set and willingness to travel during and beyond the programme
  • Some work experience from distribution centre, production or shoe-making would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of other languages on top of business English language is a distinct advantage
  • You can work independently, but also enjoy working in groups and leading the way if necessary
  • Good computer skills and knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP)
