The “Security” area within the “Digital & Operations Office” division is responsible for all matters relating to security for HypoVereinsbank. Security in general is responsible for protecting the information and assets of HypoVereinsbank’s employees and customers as well as its subsidiaries and foreign branches. We fend off active and current threats against us and our customers and work on up-to-date and future-oriented security solutions.

What you’ll be doing

You plan, develop and drive the present and also the future of security for the entire HypoVereinsbank on the basis of market standards and norms as well as UniCredit group-wide requirements and future developments in the financial industry.

Your tasks include:

  • Supporting and promoting a consistent information and cyber security strategy for UniCredit Bank GmbH
  • Ensuring continuous employee and customer awareness of information security issues, running simulated phishing campaigns and managing the security communication plan
  • Regular reporting on the overall security situation at UniCredit Bank GmbH to top management and other stakeholders
  • Advising and supporting internal and external customers

Matches with the following requirements:

  • You have recently completed your bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science/ engineering/ mathematics or comparable course of study or are in the final stages of your studies
  • You are familiar with cloud concepts and digital identity solutions (MFA, Zero-Trust, RBAC)
  • You have experience in performing Third party risk management assessments and respective communication
  • You bring a good knowledge of the main current cybersecurity threats to financial services and critical infrastructure in general with you
  • You own knowledge of governance approaches
  • Experience in project management is an advantage
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; German is a plus
