At Implement we are, as in many other consultancies, challenged on the number of female consultants compared to males. To address that we have initiated two concrete projects. ”Implement parents” addresses the basic career issues that women face during and after their pregnancy. Besides a formalized forum where women can share experiences and ask questions and guides to meaningful conversations between the pregnant woman and her leader, decreased targets for sale and delivery are also a part of the initiative. The purpose of the second initiative, the “Female partner programme” is to ensure that female consultants become a natural part of the daily and strategic management of Implement by making it easier for them to become partners.

Training & development at Implement

Internal education academy, where all employees can build on their development needs and embark on different learning journeys and training sessions, depending on their experience and level. E.g. masterclasses in facilitation, solution design, change management or full Project Management education.

Graduateships take on Implement

Why should you work for Implement?

At Implement we believe in a fundamentally appreciative approach. It is important towards our clients and it is equally important internally because it creates a workplace where trust goes hand in hand with curiosity and a general positive attitude. The high level of professionalism and subject matter expertise makes it an inspiring workplace where you always are encouraged and challenged to build new competences – through on-the-job training and through internal and external education. Implement is an extremely transparent organisation where all employees are fully informed about our performance on all key parameters. This creates a high level of security and, in times of crisis, a strong sense of belonging and understanding of what we all as individuals can do to help our community.

How would you describe your culture?

The level of energy is extremely high in Implement. We allocate a significant amount of time and resources to create a non-hierarchical culture, where high subject matter expertise goes hand in hand with an informal and relaxed social tone. Manuals and extensive rules are replaced by a few non-negotiable standards that we all know and live by. We believe that this supports the flexibility and freedom that are the prerequisites for our continuous development as a company and as individuals. We don’t believe in leaders who are appointed for formal or political reasons. We believe that leaders emerge and that they are followed by people they manage to inspire, engage and develop. That is why we all, every year, choose our own leader.

Salary Range

Diversity & Inclusion

We always celebrate diversity in applications and see it as a true benefit rather than something we need to accept out of consideration and fairness. For that reason, we pay extra attention to divese profiles out of curiosity and opportunity. Diversity is also a specific lens we apply in people analytics and in our half-yearly organisational reviews. Our maternity/paternity benefits are equal for men and women to promote the opportunity for new dads to take leave as much as the new moms.

Training & development at BASE

Various certifications and training depending on need

Why should you work for BASE?

When we ask our employees and leaders what they love about BASE, the answer is clear: The people, the culture, and our international growth journey. The organization is still small enough to feel like a family, yet big enough to ensure momentum, development and win large projects. The level of expertise in people is incredible; you are given a lot of responsibility and trusted to do a good job without managers watching over your shoulders – providing great opportunities for everyone to learn and grow. We deliver high quality in everything we do and create a great impact – which is something our clients recognize. Also, we are good at celebrating our successes and believe that what brings people together is having great experiences together – so we prioritise All BASE meetings, Friday bars, offsites and similar.

How would you describe your culture?

Our culture is the intersection between ambition and fun – a great combination of extremely talented, dedicated and hardworking people, working in a highly informal environment with low power distance and people who are genuinely interested in each other and like to have fun together. There is a great sense of team spirit and a general positive and joyful environment. This vibe is transferred from employee to employee, so the new joiners are embedded in this positive and happy mindset as soon as they join – and they will re-create the same for following new joiners. Our values are the core of the BASE DNA and the elements of our culture that we are willing to fight for. They are: Team Spirit, Trust, Ambition, Openness, and Execution.

Describe the ideal Carve consultant

Energetic, social, empathetic, supportive and high integrity

Language Requirement to work at Carve in Denmark?

  • English, Danish

Salary Range

35.000 – 40.000

Diversity & Inclusion

At Carve, we have chosen to work with equal opportunities for all, regardless of gender, age, background and other characteristics. It creates space for many different people and perspectives, which inspire our solutions and make everyday life more fun. Therefore, in the recruitment of talents and skilled consultants for Carve, we focus on gender equality and diversity. See our Annual Report 2020 for more information about activities and results.
At Carve, we have since 2014 incorporated social responsibility into our daily lives, operation and client dialogue. We have been driven by a desire to behave responsibly and create a culture where the changes happen due to our commitment and with the aim of contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the UN’s Global Compact principles.

Training & development at Carve

In Carve we offer our employees different training and education possibilities based on their experience. We have a track for new consultants focusing on the consulting toolbox with courses in Excel, Pyramid Principle, interview technique, LEAN, feedback, PowerPoint etc. Furthermore, we have a track for experienced consultants where the focus is on gaining insights in business models, policy in projects, how to efficiently run projects, sales technique etc. We also have a program which revolves around self-administered learning. It is a brilliant way to take courses when time allows. Among other we subscribe to courses from Harvard and MIT. Finally, we have a joint track where all employees are attending. The purpose is that everyone, regardless of experience and seniority, will become more skilled by participating. It also contributes to a development of the consultant T as we call it, where we are taught in transverse topics like methodology, functions, systems and different lines of industries as well as AI/ML, data protection, data ethics, anti-corruption and sustainability.

Why should you work for Carve?

We are a consultancy company that wants to do things differently and therefore we are surrounded by colleagues who are committed to make an impact. This gives a special vibe and buzzing feeling. We do not have a traditional structure of a line organization but are driven by committees with the mandate to plan and execute in coordination with each other.
Doing things differently is about breaking conventions in the industry about always working hard and late – there must also be room for recovery after busy periods. But it also paves the way for ensuring a focus on the whole human being. It is about accommodating the private in the professional and vice versa.

How would you describe your culture?

Our culture reflects our organizational setup. We see each other on an equal level regardless of seniority and title. We are all consultants which gives an informal tone and a friendly atmosphere. You are encouraged to act and make an impact if you want to make changes or if you want to implement a brilliant idea. There is not far from thought to execution. This is guided by our core values: agility, curiosity, responsibility, and openness.
What drives our culture is that we always want to do it better – both internally and on behalf of our clients!

Career Progression

All consultants are working on equal terms when operating in teams, irrespective of age and seniority. Decisive for our work and results is the combined team’s competency, subject knowledge, insights, talent and experience. We operate with a distributed ownership and are open for extending the partner group of 17 with consultants. Also, our committee structure (see below) allows for good performance and social skills as drivers for influencing the development of our company regardless of position and status. Due to that we do not work with defined career steps.

https://www.dfds.com/en/about/media/news/dfds-acquires-ict-logistics
2. Ambitious green agenda. DFDS is investing heavily into a transition of the entire operations (ships, trucks, etc.), which we in Strategy & Consulting (S&C) are at the crux at driving. Evident in our announcements about newly deployed electric trucks, and project to deliver a first green vessel by 2025. https://www.dfds.com/en/about/media/news/dfds-has-an-ambition-to-launch-the-first-green-vessel-by-2025
3. Digitization journey. There is being heavily invested in digital solutions, both in sales and in operations, and it’s an industry with still a big potential to unlock.
4. Great culture. There is a big amount of ownership with a “”if we see a problem, we fix it”” culture. People always take time to help, find pragmatic solutions. Further, the leadership is extremely competent, something that personally keeps me here (meeting numerous senior management teams during my time in McKinsey has given me a point of reference)

How would you describe your culture?

Pragmatic. Solution oriented. The opposite of a blame culture.

About Voluntās

With more than 65 human beings in six offices on four continents, Voluntās is one of the fastest growing consultancies born out of the Nordics.

At Voluntās, philosophers, anthropologists, psychologists, economists, dramaturgists, sociologists, political scientists and people of yet other academic backgrounds are all management consultants by profession and philosophers by heart. Together, we specialize in advising and working with companies, directorates, boards, investors, foundations, investors, owners, leaders and governments on how to create, adapt and drive a meaningful culture, brand, society and planet.

We believe that this approach significantly increases the quality of living, while we know that it sustainably accelerates the productivity and profitability of doing business.

We pursue advisory and analytics to realize human potential and make more lives more meaningful for the colleagues in organizations, the consumers of brands, the citizens in societies and for all us children of our blue planet.

From values to virtues

At Voluntās we do not have values. We have virtues. The concept of value originates from the language of economics, whereas the concept of virtues originates from the language of morality. Voluntās is not about economics, but all about morality. We are a fundamental change to the way money is earned, spent and invested.

Self-awareness above self-confidence

We take pride in our work… but we believe in recognizing our weaknesses as much as our strengths to improve and develop.

Humbleness & Hard Work above good intentions

Everything starts with good intentions… but we believe in diligence and persistence to create a beautiful ending.

Honesty above compassion

We care for each other… but we believe in candidness to build professional intimacy.

Facts above emotions

We are powered by passion… but we believe in evidence to steer our decision making.

Why become an Analyst at Voluntās?

We offer two programs of internship of either 6 or 12 months and you can join our six offices: Copenhagen, Tunis, Khartoum, San Francisco, Mumbai, and Oslo.

Meaningful Organizations, Brands and Planet

The internship is designed to acquaint you with insight into yourself and your human potential while providing a real, hands-on opportunity to experience various assignments with our international clients. You will contribute to our work by applying critical and creative thinking on strategic issues and propose problem-solving frameworks to address key client challenges.

Meaningful Societies

During this internship you will provide fact-based policy options and recommendations based on extensive research and analysis in fragile and conflict-affected regions. Our goal is to have a positive, sustainable impact on populations affected by crisis in order to improve their living standards and access to rights. We collect data, conduct analytics, and generate insights for both the private and public sectors. We use our insights to underpin strategic thinking and evidence-based decision making.
