Role description:

As an Electrical Graduate Engineer, you will work closely with experienced engineers in a supportive learning environment. We will continue to develop your existing skills to apply electrical engineering principles in real projects, use industry-standard tools, and contribute to high-quality design deliverables.

How You Will Contribute:

Under the supervision of experienced engineers, your role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Apply technical engineering techniques for design of general lighting, emergency lighting, power distribution, and basic low-voltage systems such as fire detection, CCTV, and security systems.
  • Prepare engineering calculations, sketches, schematic designs, 3D models, and working drawings for different project phases.
  • Build on existing proficiency in Revit and other electrical design and calculation software.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations.
  • Follow company standards, procedures, and design quality-check processes.
  • Manage assigned tasks within agreed timelines and budget while working in a structured project environment.
  • Apply safety-in-design principles ensuring system accessibility, maintainability, coordination, and buildability are integrated into your design decisions.

Qualifications and Experience:

Mandatory

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, building services, or a related field.
  • Knowledge and understanding of electrical systems for buildings.
  • Knowledge of norms and standards related to electrical engineering for buildings.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn new tools, systems, technical skills and ways of working.
  • Demonstrates good planning, organization skills, curiosity, problem-solving ability, and analytical thinking.
  • Interested in long-term professional growth within an engineering consultancy environment and actively continue to develop personally and technically through regular CPD training.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • Knowledge of specialized electrical software such as Dialux, Relux, AGI32, Amtech, ETAP, EPLAN, Generator Selection and Lightning Protection software.
  • Ability to show out-of-box thinking to identify opportunities for automation, digital tools and innovative engineering solutions.
