Are you ready to figure out where your expertise truly fits within a global finance setup? And do you want to join a 2-year graduate program tailored to your skills and interests?

“We don’t treat our graduates differently from anyone else. So, if you are ready for a bigger responsibility, you will get the opportunity to take it,” says Mikkel Skovsted, Business Finance Officer and sponsor of the graduate program.

You will go through three rotations of 8 months during the graduate program. The first one will be in finance at our HQ in Ballerup, then you transfer to a financial department outside Denmark, and then you come back to HQ, but in a different department.

What you can expect from the graduate program

Joining our graduate program September 1st 2024, you can look forward to a thorough onboarding that will introduce you to our organization as a whole and the many options we offer. You will get hands-on experience by working in 3 different business areas across GN’s brands and functions.

With multiple subsidiaries across the globe, we are sure to find a role abroad that matches GN’s business needs as well as your skills and interests. Throughout, you will be assisted by managers, program sponsors, and a mentor as you tackle a steep learning curve.

The team you will be part of

… will differ very much, depending on where you will spend your rotations. You will be exposed to as many different parts of our business as possible – even business areas outside of finance if you and we see the right match. But if you know where you want to specialize from the get-go, we will do our best to meet your wishes as well.

Also, you will become part of a network of 14 fellow graduates. Some will also be working within finance while others are exploring areas such as engineering, marketing, IT, or supply chain management.

As part of the graduate program, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work in areas as diverse as finance planning and analysis, pricing, optimizing regions financially in collaboration with marketing or handle the financial aspect of IT- and R&D projects
  • Work outside Denmark 8 months as you join a local office in e.g. Germany, France, USA, Australia, Singapore Japan or China
  • Enhance your analytical skillset and use your theoretical framework in our complex corporate reality
  • Form a corporate network and be exposed to our managers and executives

To achieve your goals in this role, we imagine that you

  • Have a relevant master’s degree in finance, economics, business economics, international business, accounting, or similar with great results as shown in your grade point average
  • Might have up to 1 year of experience after graduation or experience from an internship or student position – but it is not a requirement
  • Are eager to learn how to navigate in SAP, Power BI, SQL, Python, MS Excel, and PowerPoint – unless you are already well-versed in these
  • Thrive in taking ownership of your tasks and pursuing a high level of quality
  • Are open to constructive feedback and take every chance you get to learn something new

We encourage you to apply for our graduate program

Even if you don’t match all the above-mentioned skills, we gladly receive your application if you think you have transferrable skills. We highly value the right mindset, motivation, and energy.
