Intro to the graduates
Meet Ye Tao and Frederikke Boye, two talented graduates who joined WS Audiology’s (WSA) Graduate Program in September 2024 as part of the Business track. They are currently in their first rotation in Global Marketing and are eager to share insights into why they applied to WSA, what their first months have been like, and why this program was the right choice for them.
Diverse backgrounds, shared ambitions
Ye holds a Bachelor’s in International Economics and Trade from Nanjing Agricultural University, China, and a Master’s in Business Administration (Digital Marketing) from Amsterdam Business School, Netherlands. Frederikke earned both a Bachelor’s in International Business and a Master’s in International Marketing & Management from Copenhagen Business School, Denmark. As part of her Bachelor’s, she participated in a tri-continental exchange program, studying in Denmark, the US, and Hong Kong. Despite very different backgrounds, their shared ambition brought them together at WSA, where they are now exploring new opportunities through a global and cross-functional program.
Why choose WSA’s Graduate Program?
For Ye, the program offered the perfect opportunity to pursue a broad range of interests without specializing too early: “I didn’t want to limit myself too early in my career, which is why the graduate program seemed like the perfect fit. The program allows me to explore various aspects of business, and the international rotation made it even more appealing.”
For Frederikke, the choice was based on a personal experience, supported by the program’s structure and purpose: “I wanted to join a purpose-driven company that truly makes a difference. Witnessing my grandparents’ journey with hearing loss, I already knew what difference WSA’s solutions make. Also, the promise of diverse, cross-functional rotations and international opportunities perfectly aligned with my aspiration to grow as a well-rounded professional.”

Both graduates highlighted WSA’s thoughtful and supportive recruitment process.
“From clear communication to patient guidance, I felt supported at every step,” said Ye, recalling the warm welcome received during the visit to WSA’s headquarters.
Frederikke praised the engaging assessment day: “I was impressed by the enthusiasm of everyone I met. A fun and comprehensive onboarding experience
Both Ye and Frederikke spoke highly of the preboarding and onboarding activities, which combined practical preparation with memorable experiences.
“From Q&A sessions to training in essential tools like O365, Project Management, and Facilitation Management, WSA ensured we were well-equipped for our roles. We had plenty of time to connect with other graduates and received fantastic introductions from people across different functions. It felt special to have our own tailored onboarding as graduates,” shared Ye. For Frederikke, the mix of professional workshops and social activities made the onboarding week unforgettable: “We attended team building activities and bonded over group dinners. Building connections with fellow graduates has shown to be incredibly valuable as we have formed a strong supportive network. All these experiences helped me quickly settle into the company.”.
Advice for future applicants
“Don’t feel like you need to fit into a specific mold,” advised Ye. “WSA values diverse perspectives and focuses on your potential.” Frederikke encouraged applicants to be authentic: “Take time to understand WSA’s values and how they align with your own.
