Collaborate closely with the business departments involved to ensure that local and Group data quality standards are properly implemented, monitored and reported to all relevant departments.

What you’ll be doing

Implement and ensure compliance with data quality standards at Local and Group level, adequately monitors and reports the results of controls to all involved departments;

Oversees centralization of requirements regarding Data Quality controls received from the Business Departments and provides support to IT, Data Owners and Data Stewards in the definition of Data Quality controls according to the definitioned Key Quality Indicators;

Maintain and update monthly records of Data Quality reports, including methods for resolving issues related to relevant data types;

Ensures that the errors in data quality are properly investigated and coordinates the analysis of the causes that determined the errors, in collaboration with Data Owners, Data Stewards and IT;

Supports prioritization of data quality issues according to requirements;

Analyzes and uderstands the source data, understands it’s the structure in the systems used (Core02, GWB, DWH, IDP, Aramis) and proposes Key Quality Indicators;

Monitors the set of data quality rules, quality indicators and proposes to the direct manager the relevant situations to be developed at the dashboard level;

Elaborates a remedial plan and specific actions to correct the errors that have occurred and acts proactively by establishing appropriate measures to improve the processes;

Understand the standards, norms, indicators and specifications of business and data quality, including the accepted deviation margins ensuring their alignment with the specifications defined by the Data Owner and Data Steward;

Contribute to improving the functional and technical requirements of Local Data Quality Tools, in accordance with data quality standards;

Establishes and correctly and completely defines, together with the lines of business, the business requirements and validates them with the stakeholding departments;

Performs UAT as per existing standards in order to certify correct implementation of the business requirements;

Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Data Ownership and Data Lineage Catalogs.

What you’ll need to succeed

Ability to make and defend decisions based on both internal evidence and external criteria;

Strong skills in critically evaluating the credibility and reliability of information before using or sharing it with others;

Expertise in identifying data-related issues through quality indicators, measures and metrics, and in planning data cleansing and enrichment strategies according to data quality standards;

Proficient in transforming large sets of raw data into relevant and actionable insights using specific tools or by creating ad-hoc reports;

Knowledge of content management methods, including the definition and use of metadata to describe, organize and archive content effectively;

Strong understanding of personal data protection and privacy in digital environments, ensuring secure use and sharing of personally identifiable information.
